A newly refurbished bar in Mor Dhona, on the outskirts of Revenant's Toll.Owned by M'nita Tia, it welcomes patrons from all walks of life - so long as they are capable of suitable discretion. One might expect to find connections here willing to undertake any manner of endeavour, particularly those less savoury or unsanctioned by the nation-states.

The bar is dual-purpose; a front for the smuggling and acquisitions business run under its roof - and a place to make business connections that lean towards the unlawful. That in mind, patrons should be expected not to engage in illicit activities on premises but rather, establish beneficial contacts and arrange off-premises endeavours.

IC Rules

  • You break it, you pay for it.

  • If it'll draw the law, it's out.

  • Talk shit, get hit.

  • Keep your blade but don't swing it too wide.

  • More than kissing? Get a room.

  • Smoking in booths only.

  • No unsupervised kids.

OOC Rules

  • Tag up appropriately (tagging system below).

  • Fights are welcomed if non-disruptive to scheduled events.

  • IC conflict is IC conflict. Keep it impersonal, otherwise, disengage.

  • Mature conversation is fine, open erotica is not.

  • If one is experiencing harassment, discomfort or feels a combatant is not 'playing fair', contact a staff member in tells or discord DMs

  • There may be underage player characters we have given permission to be present. Boundaries regarding IC age barriers will be respected.

Tagging System

We use tags to indicate interest or consent to engagement in conflict or combat spontaneously, and without prior negotiation:RP/Roleplaying - 'Passive mode' - I am in character, but request communication and consent before initiating conflict.LFP/Green Tag - 'PvP Enabled' - I am in character and welcome any spontaneous engagement with aggressive or hostile intent. No Tag/Busy/AFK - I am OOC/lurking/lamping.

Rules of Mutual Consent

We do not expect nor require you to ask another player's permission before taking any hostile or aggressive action against them IC.The tagging system intends to help you, at a glance, broadcast and identify others with whom you can comfortably engage with in provoked hostility without pausing to establish OOC consent. It is not an escape from consequences if you provoke conflict while not suitably tagged - nor does it permit you to attack others freely, if they bear the 'PvP' tag. Conflict must be justifiable and proportional. It is requested you check consent before intervening in an ongoing fight - or to offer healing to injured parties in the aftermath. If someone takes an IC action you are not comfortable with, the first step is to communicate this to your RP partner. If you struggle to come to common grounds regarding the IC situation, we recommend aborting the interaction and having a full conversation regarding boundaries at your next convenience - otherwise, you are never expected to engage with characters with whom you cannot find mutual consent.

Combat Rules

By default, any interplayer combat is expected to use dice rolls for fair and equitable play. With mutual agreement players can forgo rolling and engage in 'Freeplay' combat. Let a staff member know if this agreement is established. The Smoking Gun combat system
We are trialling a dice rolling system that is built off of Grindstone but intended to mimic the loose and chaotic atmosphere of a bar brawl.
Whoever initiates combat makes the first attack. If undetermined, roll initiative. Attacker writes their attack and then rolls against the defender with /random to determine its success. Defender then writes their response, followed by any counterattack, and rolls their own turn. There are no hitpoints - players should engage with the expectation that a fight wears them down naturally over time until exhaustion or injury removes them from play.

  • If a defense roll exceeds the attack roll by no more than 200, consider it a glancing blow - the attack still lands but without full effect.

  • If the attack roll exceeds the defense roll by up to 200, the attack lands with intended effect.

  • If the attack roll exceeds the defense roll by more than 200, there is a greater than intended impact and defense should react accordingly.

  • Attack rolls exceeding the defense by 500 are a particularly devastating blow.

Play fair, play in good faith - fights are not intended to last for hours, and are not expected to always result in knockouts - certainly not death.A fight is conceded at any time by retreat or by verbal surrender. In either case, the victor is expected to lend no more than a final 'victory lap' strike - not a murderous coup de grace.
